Who We Are?

A dynamic and progressive law firm offering a wide range of services to our clients we pride ourselves on our quality of service. Daly Khurshid Solicitors LLP was founded in 2021 resulting from a merger of 2 long established and highly successful firms. Gary Daly and Co was founded by Gary Daly in 2006 and IK & Co was founded by Imran Khurshid in 2016. The team that has been built from this merger has many years combined experience in different legal and business sectors. We can offer a range of tailored advice which suits all clients. Our lawyers have worked in many different fields and we can offer expertise in a broad range of sectors. Our team is qualified to represent clients in the jurisdiction of Pakistan and United Kingdom.

Gary Daly

Gary Daly qualified in 2001 and has extensive experience in insolvency, commercial and property law. Gary is also a passionate human rights lawyer and has been involved in many cases vindicating the human rights of our clients. This passion for human rights has also carried over into his involvement in many campaigns for the rights of those without homes, the traveller community, LGBTQIA rights, for refugees and anti-racism. Gary is also a well-rounded sportsman having competed at various levels in GAA, boxing and jiu-jitsu.

Mr. Imran Khurshid is a well-known and highly respected immigration lawyer in the Republic of Ireland. He is a Partner with Daly Khurshid Solicitor LLP. Mr. Khurshid was appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths by the Chief Justice of Ireland in 2014 and a Notary Public in 2018. Mr. Khurshid earned a Barrister-at-Law degree from The Honourable Society of King’s Inns in 2012. He has since changed direction and is now practicing as a Solicitor since 2016.

Mr. Khurshid is also a registered Advocate of the High Courts in Pakistan.

Mr. Khurshid has been very active in local politics in Ireland and has been campaigning for the rights of immigrants in Ireland since 2011. He has been very active and contributed in the formulation and drafting of the scheme for the regularisation of undocumented persons in Ireland. Mr. Khurshid has been centrally involved in many social, political and legal events in Ireland for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Seamus Hempenstall

Seamus joined as a Trainee Solicitor in 2017 and has gained invaluable experience in a broad range of general practice within the firm and has gained immense exposure to the Courts through General and Commercial Litigation.

Seamus’s particular areas of interest and expertise include Corporate and Commercial Law matters, Corporate and Personal Insolvency, Employment Law, Litigation, Personal Injury (Plaintiff and Defendant) and Immigration & Asylum Law.

Seamus achieved a First Class Honours in his LL.M. dissertation which focused on the impact of the Economic Recession on the Judiciary and their changing perspectives in relation to the Restriction of Company Directors under Section 819 of the Companies Act 2014.

Throughout his time in college, Seamus was heavily involved in the WIT Law Society and the European Law Students Association (ELSA), representing his students as an ELSA Committee member at both National and International Level.
